Position Overview

As the Finance/Admin Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth financial and administrative operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing administrative tasks, and supporting internal compliance and reporting efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Duties:

Process and capture invoices, purchase orders, and credit notes

Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash

Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and UIF returns

Monitor budget expenditure and assist in financial forecasting

Assist with payroll preparation and reporting

Maintain accurate records for auditing and compliance purposes


Administrative Duties:

Manage general office administration including filing and documentation control

Maintain supplier and client databases

Support HR admin tasks, including onboarding documentation and leave tracking

Handle procurement documentation and stock control records

Liaise with external service providers (e.g. accountants, SARS, UIF, COIDA)

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric (Finance or Accounting qualification preferred)

2–3 years’ experience in a finance/admin role

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), accounting software (e.g. Sage/Pastel)

Strong understanding of financial systems and bookkeeping principles

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High level of attention to detail and time management skills

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Attributes

Experience in payroll processing and SARS submissions

Familiarity with BBBEE and company compliance regulations

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Team-oriented with a positive attitude
