Volpes, one of South Africa’s most trusted and loved home linen brands, is currently on the lookout for a Code 14 Driver to join their logistics and distribution team in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth).

🚚 About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, timeous, and efficient delivery and collection of goods for Volpes’ retail and wholesale operations. This includes inter-branch transfers, warehouse support, and deliveries to regional hubs, outlets, or customers.

🧾 Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive a Code 14 vehicle across local and regional routes

Load, secure, and unload stock in line with company procedures

Ensure timely deliveries and maintain delivery schedules

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Accurately complete logbooks and delivery documentation

Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and retail teams

Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle

Uphold Volpes’ high standards of service and brand integrity

✅ Minimum Requirements:

Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s license

Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or FMCG logistics

Clean driving record and sound knowledge of South African road safety regulations

Strong understanding of delivery logistics and documentation

Physically fit and able to handle goods loading/unloading

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Punctuality, integrity, and professionalism are essential
