🔎 Job Overview

As a 2T/4T Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timeous delivery of goods using either a 2-ton or 4-ton vehicle, depending on operational requirements. This position requires not just driving capability, but a high level of professionalism, reliability, and knowledge of South African road regulations.

You will report directly to the logistics or operations supervisor and may be required to complete deliveries across local and regional routes.

✅ Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

✅ Grade 12 / Matric Certificate

✅ Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence (Must be unendorsed – clean driving record)

✅ Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

✅ At least 1 year of driving experience operating 2T or 4T vehicles

✅ Good knowledge of road signs, traffic rules, and safety protocols

✅ Excellent communication and time management skills

✅ Physically fit – able to load/unload goods where required

✅ Must be able to read and interpret delivery notes or route instructions

> Note: Applicants without a valid PDP or with endorsements may be disqualified automatically.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

As part of your daily duties, you will:

Ensure vehicle inspections are done before and after trips

Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the delivery vehicle

Safely deliver products or packages to scheduled locations

Communicate delays or issues with the operations team

Obtain delivery confirmations or signatures from customers

Maintain accurate trip logs and records

Comply with all company policies and traffic regulations

Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
