🔎 1. Position: General Worker
As a General Worker, your role will involve maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of various operational areas within the park. This includes support for maintenance teams, cleaning public and staff facilities, and assisting with day-to-day operations.
✅ Requirements:
Grade 10 or higher (Matric not required but advantageous)
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Experience in cleaning, gardening, or general maintenance is an advantage
Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays
Must be passionate about conservation and environmental care
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of staff quarters, public restrooms, and operational zones
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as sweeping, lifting, and clearing areas
Assist in waste management and recycling initiatives
Support the technical team where required

🔎 2. Position: Assistant Gate Official
As an Assistant Gate Official, you will be the first point of contact for visitors entering the park. Your responsibilities will include ticket validation, handling guest queries, and providing friendly and informative service.
✅ Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12 (compulsory)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Must be fluent in English and at least one other South African language
Basic computer literacy is an advantage
Willing to work shifts and irregular hours
Experience in customer-facing roles will be beneficial

Welcome and check-in guests at park entrances
Verify booking details and issue access permits
Provide information on park rules and safety guidelines
Handle visitor queries professionally and courteously
Ensure entry protocols are followed at all times
