This internship is ideal for recent graduates or individuals pursuing a career in Occupational Health and Safety, who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a structured, real-world environment.

✅ Minimum Requirements:

A Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is essential

A National Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or currently studying towards one) will be advantageous

Good communication and reporting skills

Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team

Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to follow safety procedures and report incidents responsibly

Must be self-motivated, proactive, and have a high attention to detail

🛠️ Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist the Safety Officer with routine site inspections and audits

Help identify potential hazards and recommend preventative actions

Support in compiling safety reports, incident logs, and compliance records

Participate in health and safety awareness training for staff

Ensure all PPE and safety signage is monitored and available as per regulations

Promote a safe work culture throughout the site and among workers
