๐ What is a Learnership?
A learnership is a structured learning programme that combines theoretical training with practical on-the-job experience. Participants earn a monthly stipend while gaining nationally recognized qualifications and valuable professional exposure.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Be aged between 18 – 34 years
- Hold South African citizenship
- Have at least a Matric certificate (NQF 4); NQF 5–6 qualifications are welcome
- Currently unemployed for the past 6 months
- Not enrolled in any academic institution
- Have little or no work experience (less than 12 months)
- This must be your first job experience
- Must not have participated in FirstRand's FirstJob programme or worked for the group before
- Proficient in English
- No criminal record or blacklisting
- Fully committed to a 12-month learnership
