🧰 Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide friendly and efficient customer service at all times

Assist with merchandising and product displays to maintain store appeal

Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system when required

Maintain stock levels on shelves and assist with stock replenishment

Receive, unpack, and sort incoming stock or deliveries

Keep the shop floor, shelves, and stockroom clean, organized, and safe

Assist in inventory checks and stock-taking activities

Handle basic customer queries and escalate complaints where necessary

Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols in the store and warehouse area

✅ Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)

At least 2 years of relevant retail or shop floor experience, ideally in a factory shop or outlet environment

Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

Reliable timekeeping and attendance

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light stock, and work in a fast-paced retail environment

Customer service-oriented with a positive and solution-focused mindset

Flexibility to work retail shifts, weekends, or holidays as required
